February is really the fag-end of the year. Even in normal times, it’s the moment for getting depressed or divorced. The New Year’s resolutions, and possibly other bits of us, have begun to sag and the barometer is set at dull. Just the moment to feel hectored into spending a fortune on quackery and superfoods.
